I understand JJ was a ladies man he was always going out on dates but why come the producers of good times never game him a group of friends that could come over to the house and gossip.

JJ had friends. He was a member of the awesome foursome and later on the gleesome threesome.

JAmes Jr. was an artist via portrait painting.In a rough and tumble neighborhodd such as the one the Evans lived in,many of the other kids mayh have considered him a bit too "nerdy" for this quality.

Those guy's werent his friends they were his singing buddies i am talking about group of people who come to his house from season 1 to season 6 male friends the show might have been more interesting if they focus on jj and michael having multiple male friends who want to go out with their sister thelma or them flirting with willona , i wish i was the producer of this sitcom i can make this show more interesting with my ideas for episodes.

Also the awesome foursome says they had been getting together once a month for 12 years |
