Nodsmiley Episode Bobby's Hero he choose the wrong guy

In the season 4 episode Bobby's Hero i wonder why bobby did not think to choose clint eastwood back in the 1970's as his favorite hero he was a pretty popular actor back then every kid wanted to be him.

i was a kid in the 70's and I didn't know ANY kids that wanted to be like Clint, even when his best friend was an orangutan.

I wanted to be like Fonzie, B.J. and the Bear and the Dukes of Hazzard - YEEEEHAAAAAWWWR!!!!

They wanted to have a lesson taught to Bobby, so they picked a "hero" who was a killer in real life (as opposed to just an actor), just to teach Bobby a lesson about heroes.

Clint Eastwood played some cool roles, but he was just an actor.

Plus, it got Burt Mustin a job.

Cool

Bobby did have other heroes on the show. They were all athletes. For example Joe Namath who Bobby (with Cindy's help) went to extreme measures to meet.

This is a landmark Brady Bunch episode!

The originally script called for Bobby to worship a Skyjacker, but the network said no that would be "too real." I wonder who that person was? DB Cooper comes to mind, and is the only one I can think of at the time.

Yes, I saw Back To The Future 3 when it was released in the theaters, and now own it on Blu Ray. But that is a movie, not real life. So, bad example. Nice try though.
