O.J. Simpson asking for new trial - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

May 13, 2013: O.J. Simpson appears in Clark County District Court in Las Vegas. Simpson, who is currently serving a nine-to-33-year sentence in state prison as a result of his October 2008 conviction on armed robbery and kidnapping charges, is seeking a new trial, claiming that trial lawyer Yale Galanter had conflicted interests and shouldn't have handled Simpson's armed case.

The former football hero and his new legal team hope to convince a judge during a hearing that began Monday that trial lawyer Yale Galanter had conflicted interests and shouldn't have handled Simpson's armed robbery case in 2008.

Simpson, 65, appeared in court wearing a blue jail uniform. Flanked by guards, he entered the courtroom in handcuffs, which were later removed so he could write. It appeared he remained chained to a chair at the waist. His hair was short and grayer than it was during his previous court appearance in the case.

^ I know a few times, you told the story about someone in the theaters booing during a showing of the 3rd Naked Gun film, when O.J. came on, as well as the scene where O.J.'s character Nordberg almost gets killed in the first film, and how it's too bad no one could do that to him in real life. Well, here's something else I bet you didn't know before.

Over the years, TV stations have played TV versions of the Naked Gun trilogy. These versions include scenes not seen on theaters or on home video. One of the deleted scenes in the first film takes place right after Drebin says "Whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute until he's behind bars. Now, let's grab a bite to eat." As him, Ed, and Wilma (Nordberg's wife) leave the examining room, Drebin unknowingly shuts off Nordberg's life support system.

I don't think there's a person in this country that has any sympathy for that scumbag. Nichole is not coming back. I'm surprised the inmates haven't made a move on him yet.
