Big Changes at WWOR and WNYW - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

These stations have merged recently and we will now be feeling the effects as several shows swap between the stations.

Caroline in the City, the Nanny, and the Steve Harvey Show have all moved from WNYW to WWOR, effective 9/17.

Many talk shows have moved from WWOR to WNYW. Spin City has also moved.(This is all according to TV Guide Online.) Here are the complete schedules for the daytime hours:

WNYW bought WWOR earlier this summer, so I guess the changes are effective on the 17th!

So Ricki Lake will be on both channels? That's dumb. It's cool that FOX Kids programming will me moving to WWOR. FOX Kids is crap.

I have been able to find out most of the late night schedule, except for a few slots.

11:00 Seinfeld
11:30 ? (probably Drew Carey)
Mid. ?
12:30 ?
1:00 ?
1:30 Cops
2:00 Cops
2:30-4:00 Paid Programming
4:00 Mad About You
4:30 Grace Under Fire

I think that Home Improvement will be on at midnight. The only questions are at 12:30 and 1:00 AM. Unhappily Ever After is gone, so that probably leaves Roseanne and something else (maybe A Different World)

Wow, that's a surprise. Sounds good though. I agree about Ricki Lake--what a dumb show to be on 2 networks. Other than that, it sounds good.

....and A Different World. The only thing I see is that Moral Court is on WWOR at 9 am still, but it was canceled. When it finally leaves, there may be room for Roseanne and A Different World.

I was right! A Different World on WWOR Sundays 12-1PM!
Also Spin City will air on both channels too! WNYW M-F 4:30PM, WWOR Sun 11:30PM
