Nodsmiley Step by Step and The Brady Bunch

Does anyone think step by step is a big ripp-off of the brady bunch both parents on the two diff'rent sitcoms are single and have 3 kids each.

Cool

It's obvious that "Step by Step" was intended to be a modern version of the "Brady Bunch" and was very much modelled on the earlier show. Does that make it a ripoff or a compliment? They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! And "Step by Step" was a very pale imitation of the "Brady Bunch".

I prefer "Step by Step" over "The Brady Bunch"...

Maybe because of Cody played by Sasha Mitchell.

I prefer The Brady Bunch over step by step, the brady bunch had this realistic thing that made it entertaining and fantastic to watch their was never a dull episode, step by step is a good show but not a legend like the brady bunch it had really good and really bad episodes that made it hard to watch sometimes one episode is good the next episode was awful lol.

They are both great shows, but I love Step by Step. It's one of my favorite 90s shows and yeah it is similar in some ways to The Brady Bunch, but they are also somewhat different as well.

The only thing diff'rent between the brady bunch and step by step is the year the sitcoms came out.

Even though Thr Brady Bunch is more iconic, I liked Step By Step a lot more. Esp. Brandon Call. Also don't like the way The Brady Bunch was milked over and over. But I know many may feel the opposite.

There are definitely similarities between "The Brady Bunch" and "Step By Step", but there are also some differences too. In any case, there is room for similar products on the market. It's interesting to note that while "The Brady Bunch" is considered legendary by many, "Step By Step" actually lasted for more seasons. Anyway, I love them both.

The Brady Bunch was a really good show why it lasted only 5 seasons is beyond me it could have lasted 9 seasons like all in the family the show was still entertaining i did want to see peter, jan, bobby and cindy graduate from high school.

same idea but with different actors. 2 boys and one girl and 2 girls and one boy.

Suzanne - has the girly girls and the smart kid and Patrick has the 2 sons manly and the daughter tom boy who grows into a lady. Also the oldest daughter was on my two dads with Paul Riser..... I think the Actors made the show. I enjoyed watching it am a fan of Threes Company and Dallas. .
