best public officials shown on UM - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

We've discussed on many threads the work of sloppy law enforcement officers/prosecutors/parole boards who were too lazy or incompetent to do their jobs correctly (cases such as Norman Ladner, Patty Stallings, James Donald King, etc). But in your view, which public servants shown during UM cases came off to you as persevering and were good LEOs? Here's some examples that stand out to me:

Judge Ruth Moskowitz (Sheldon Weinberg case)-She really laid her cards on the table with the Weinbergs; they didn't commit white collar crime, she considered it a violent crime against people who needed money for medical aid and were exploited; that's borderline slavery.

Lt. Gilbert Ulibarri (murder of Catholic priests)-You could tell in the tone of his voice that he was really immersed in the case and was determined to find justice. Very charismatic.

Capt. Frank Curry (Omar's arsonist)-Again, someone who got really immersed in the case and maybe even felt affected by it.

The state policeman who went against that stupid local sheriff in the Kathy Bonderson case and was actually proven right that it was a murder.

I liked all of the LE in the Veronica Jefferson case. They were all determined to find the killer regardless of how much time had passed.

I don't remember these people's names (the law enforcement officials), but
here are a few I think seemed dedicated or looked like good LE officials:

-Keith Reinhard case: Investigator from the Clear Creek County Sheriff's
Department. Not that the case was solved, but I think this was a very
cold case to begin with. The investigator had some insights into the case
that were right on the mark.
-Gainesville, TX killers (William Henry/David Crockett): The FBI agent.
While these lowlife criminals were found, this agent (before their capture) sounded very diligent in getting them when he explains the teens have to be found.
-Warren/Geneva Roberts: The Indiana State Police officer who is on the
segment the most (name might be Dave). Between the surveillance and
his attention to detail, I think this was good police work.
-Lee Selwyn: Los Angeles police detective. When he explains that this
was a murder (and not some lesser crime, such as vehicular manslaughter), he's not mincing words and sounds serious about the crime and getting the guy.

I think most of the law enforcement and public officials do a great job. Robert stack actually had a huge respect for elliot ness and the hard work that goes into that business. It is easy to judge from the outside or to look back when hind sight is 20/20. Unfortunately it only takes a small % of people to give everyone a bad rap. The ones that bother me aren't the ones that made mistakes because no one is perfect. But the corrupt ones like bordello murders are the ones that bother me the most.

The good stories that I remember are the local officers that laid their lives on the line. People don't realize how tough law enforcement is. Those people pay their dues. The Donald Webb segment comes to mind and the other segment where the sheriff was killed in a robbery (I can't remember his name right now). Ultimately those 2 robbers were held accountable. Webb has still not been found?

Yeah unfortunately that was a case of a stubborn man that did not want to Admit that he was wrong. That's why it is always good to have separate opinions. It's ok to say wow I missed that....Thanks for helping me.

I don't think he was ever found but im sure hes already passed away since then...
