Interesting question, Neutronman67. I guess Halle was on the cusp of stardom by "Fresh Prince" debuted in 1990, so perhaps she wanted to focus less on television (she co-starred with Michael Learned on the short-lived "Who's The Boss?" spinoff "Living Dolls," alongside another up-and-coming actress named Leah Remini; and she also had a recurring role on the long-running prime-time serial "Knots Landing") and more on feature films (she delivered a memorable performance as a crack addict in Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever" in 1991).

When this show was on the air,she most likely did not have any time,since she has worked every year since the start of this show and 2008 was the first year since that time she has not had any work or accepted any work.

Halle was really good in the 2013 thriller The Call, and I enjoyed seeing her play multiple roles in the scifi Cloud Atlas, she even played a male.

Did you like her in Extant? She was really the only reason I gave it a look but it was kind of a disappointment for her.

I think somebody needs to create a comedy for her. She is a good comedic actress as she demonstrated in BAPS.

Come to think of it, I'm also puzzled as to why Halle Berry never did make a guest appearance on "Fresh Prince," though she was mentioned in season five's "As The Will Turns." If starlets like Naomi Campbell, Vivica A. Fox, Tyra Banks, Lela Rochon, Tisha Campbell, Garcelle Beauvais, Stacey Dash, Elise Neal, Robin Givens, Kim Fields, Jasmine Guy, Cree Summer, Vanessa Williams, and Nia Long can make guest appearances throughout its six-season run, surely Halle could've appeared on the series, even if it had been a cameo appearance.

Queen Latifah made 2 different appearances on the show as did Nia Long and others.
