I never understood why michael was short and jj was like a giant 6'1 he was tall like james.

Florida was short so he probably got those genes from his mother. some kids are short and other are tall. Michael was taller by the end of the series and he may have grown more

Naw michael was still kinda short he was atleast 5'3 by the end of the series and he was around 19.
