Odd scene in episode.........."Thelma Moves Out" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

If Penny was sleeping in Florida's old room doesn't that mean there was a open room which was Thelma's???

So why was Michael and JJ still sleeping together on the sofa bed when one of them could have been in Thelma's room?

Another one of those odd scenes

Are you talking about when Thelma date fell on top of Michael and JJ?

That's because at that time Thelma was still living there and Penny was in Florida's room. When Thelma moved out JJ took Thelma's room. Remember he redecorated it and Thelma got mad at him.

Well Penny could have went in Thelma's room, and JJ or Michael could have went in Florida's room. It wasn't like Thelma was going to bed as soon as she came home.

But it was weird anyway that Thelma brought her date back to the apt when she didn't live alone

They probably put Penny in Flo's room because they didn't know what time Thelma was going to get home from her date. And why is it weird that she brought a date back to the apartment? She was an adult and dating, nothing strange about that, she wasn't bringing him home to have sex.

Well sometimes you bring a date to have a quiet romantic which maybe a light makeout session which is kissing and hugging. Not necessarily sex

Thelma did her kissing and hugging while out on her date. Except when she brought Keith to the apt. for the first time and they made out right there for the longest time. That was awkward.
