Arnold was 8 years old in the episode goodbye dolly where he looses his doll and he wants everybody to look for it, was arnold too old to be playing with a teddy bear doll at his age ???

that episode was so annoying I don't even watch it in reruns not sure what rest of your thoughts but just my opinoin

Growing up we videotaped this episode, so for us it's kinda iconic.

As for dolls, 8yrs old is still okay for soft toys - but whether you should hire a private investigator to find one is another question. I used to have an 80s plush Wicket when I was 7/8yrs old.

And remember in 1978 when this was filmed, there was a limited toy market. The action figure craze was in it's infancy.

What about the "Arnold's Girlfriend" episode where Arnold is talking about Alice's voice and he says that she sounds like Kimberly's doll?

How old was Kimberly at that point? 14? Way too old to have a talking doll!

oh didn't know about that part sounds like Kimberly's doll now that is weird did it talk and all strange.hiring pi to find the doll was very strange.

Well, girls can get by with things that guys can't. I have had several girlfriends in their 20s who still had stuffed animals all over their beds.
