Do you think Alice ever got married to that guy sam the show was not on the air long enough for us see her actually get married that would have made a better series final.

In The Brady Brides 1981, Alice says she has been married to Sam for the past 3 years or 4 years. So they got married in 1977 or 1978.

Around that time, that's when Carol didn't need her around anymore as there were less kids in the house.

1974 Greg Graduated
1975 was Marica

I would be guessing they both moved out to go to college/get their own places after graduating from high school.

Peter was going into Freshman year in 1974. So 1978 he would have graduated and went off to college/got his own place.

I think right after that, Alice got married to Sam and left the Brady's. Jan would have been a Senior in high school in 1978, most likely living in the attic, and Bobby and Cindy would have had their own rooms. With 3 kids around, less shopping to do, less laundry, and each kid would have been responsible for making/keeping their own rooms nice (by this time they were all teenagers/driving).

I think Alice would have definitely married and left once it was down to 3 kids in the house and one in each room and one in the attic and all were driving and had licenses. So 1978 most likely she got married to Sam.

Alice would have left the Brady's house once marcia and Jan graduate high school the last two kids were trouble makers who were always asking questions they already knew the answer to, their favorite quote Bobby and Cindy said was what does that mean ???

Actually it was 1977 Alice married Sam. She may have still stayed at the house after they got married though. But just saying she didn't, I'm guessing summer of 1977 she got married to Sam, that would mean the show's never seen season 8 finale they would have married. It would have made a much better series finale had the show lasted another 3 seasons just the way it was and nobody quarrelled.

By this time in 1977, Peter would be getting ready for his senior year of high school, which means he would be driving for sure by this time. He'd have the attic while Jan and Cindy still shared a bedroom and Bobby had his own room. I think that's when she left the Brady family. After Peter graduated the following year, which would have been the 9th season finale or so, then there would have been one kid in each room and Jan getting the attic.

By 1977, with only 4 kids left at home, and one of the 3 driving, Alice really didn't have much to do anymore. 1979 Jan went off to College, 1980 was Bobby going off to College, and 1981 was Cindy, which is when Brady Brides began.

Greg and Marcia would have been into their careers long before a season 8 or even 9 of the series. I don't think the show would have made it past the 1970s. I think if anything it would have for sure wrapped up with Alice and Sam marrying and Carol realizing the less kids at home means less cooking and less grocery shopping, so Alice was relieved at some point. Then again, TV has always screwed around with characters ages and such.

But I think on The Brady Bunch they did it just right because Peter did say in the finale of season 5 he was going to be a Freshman, so that was in 1974, so 1978 he would have graduated, then the rest each of the following 3 years from high school.

Yes, and they had twins, but they never mentioned them on the reunion shows.

When Alice married Sam, she still could have continued to houseclean the Brady household. Just because the children have move on, doesn't necessary mean she didn't kept on housecleaning.I never did see Mrs Brady clean the house, so Alice might have continued on. Once she married Sam she no longer was a live in maid. She move into Sam's house. On the other hand Alice might have retired and gone on trips with Sam.

With a reduced work load, she might have only came and cleaned a few days a week.
