'Two and a Half Men' renewed: Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer in; Angus T. Jones, not so much April 26, 2013, 8:41 PM EST By Tim Kenneally TheWrap "Two and a Half Men" has been renewed for another season with Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer signing back on to return, an individual with knowledge of the situation confirms to TheWrap. Angus T. Jones, on the other hand, won't be back -- at least not as a regular, though it's possible he could recur on the series. Bing: Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs Jones, who plays the son of Cryer's character, Alan Harper, famously trashed the show last year, calling the series "filth" in a video. Jones later apologized, and it's unclear whether the video had anything to do with his departure. For the past season, his character, Jake, has been in the Army. Tell us on Facebook: Can the show work without Angus T. Jones? Kutcher came aboard the show in September 2011, for the series' ninth season. Kutcher, who plays Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, replaced original star Charlie Sheen, who was ousted after a run of bizarre behavior that included insults directed at "Men" co-creator Chuck Lorre. Because of so many fans despising and boycotting the show, one of its stars being WAY overpriced, and the declining quality of the show, I'm guessing that, despite still-healthy ratings, season 11 of "Two and a Half Men" should probably be announced as the final season. "Possible one-hour series finale coming May 2014."

I'm sorry if this offends any fans of this show but I am shocked that it's lasted this long

UPDATE 4/29/13:
CBS just put out a release officially announcing the renewal of "Two and a Half Men" for next season, the return of stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer and the departure of Angus T. Jones as a regular. “The renewal comes after new agreements were reached for next season with series producer Warner Bros. Television as well as cast members Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer,” CBS said. “Producers are in discussions with Angus T. Jones about a recurring role next season while he is attending college.” http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/asht...nd-a-half-men/ |

Angus is practically just recurring now. Holland Taylor is hardly on and John Cryer's ex isn't even on anymore. They should put it out of it's misery.
