Default Just watched Castle S05 Eps. 21: Squab & the Quail. If you like it, don't read this

If you like the episode, this isn't for you. Don't read any further. Because I'm going to go off on this.

I 'm disappointed and angry. I just need to let loose. That's why I'm doing this. And this is just my opinion.

I thought this Season 5 up to the 20th episode was fairly decent. It look like it was going somewhere, maybe interesting.... until now.

Here it goes: All I have to say of my review of this episode of Castle of S05 Eps: The Squab and the Quail is atrocious. Whoever wrote this and authorized this piece of garbage is an idiot. The creator should be embarrassed and ashamed of himself.

While I was watching this episode, I was thinking to myself, "The creator can't be this stupid letting this crap to go through like this. I'm pretty sure he is smart enough to have something up his sleeve during the episode or at the end to clear up this crap. WOW! Was I wrong about about him? He is STUPID!"

Now, here's the problem. The plot sucks. The characters turned to 180 degrees.

The plot doesn't make since and it's sloppy. A douche-bag billionaire who only needs Detective Kate Beckett to babysit him because somebody or maybe more than one person is trying to kill him. What? Can he get his own bodyguard/bodyguards to protect him? What makes Beckett so special. She's
no Wonder Woman or Terminator. She can't handle it by herself. She needs backup.

Castle: The whole jealous thing with Castle has to go. It's too tiring. It's beyond old. It's been dead for both Castle and Beckett since S2 Eps 14: The Thrid Man, which I liked.

Kate Beckett: Not only did I dislike her in this episode, I have lost total respect for Beckett. Sure, she have doubts where the relationship might be heading into. If it bothers her that much, why didn't she talk to Castle right before they enter the restaurant early in the episode? All she could have said: "Can we talk about our relationship when we have time? I like to know where it's going?" How hard was that? But no, she doesn't say anything. It just doesn't make sense. So, I'm confused. Does it bother her or not?

I can't believe Beckett could be this stupid and oogling all over this douche-bag. This douche-bag wanted one thing. Him having 2 glasses and a bottle of champagne. Gee, wonder what was that for? I doubt this douche-bag could care less about Beckett. The douche-bag pops the cork right into his eye or face. She hustles down to get some ice for him. The douche-bag tells her to drink the champagne and she said no at first because she's on duty then she smiles then she's says "Okay, maybe a sip." Then she starts to open up to him when he's asking her personal questions. She kept smiling away. Really? She just met the douche-bag less than a day or so. The other thing, Beckett already knew that Castle is jealous. And she kept going on with douche-bag like she didn't care about Castle or if Castle didn't exist anymore.

Then Beckett tells the douche-bag she's in relationship with Castle. The douche-bag doesn't care. He walks toward her and she lets this douche-bag get that close to her and she closes her eyes and he ends up kissing her. WHAT?! Again. REALLY? She barely knows this douche-bag and she kiss the douche-bag for a fraction of a second to a second. REALLY? Castle couldn't even get that close to her that quick. It took Castle 4 years to get to her.

I would have respected Beckett if she put her hand or hands out in front of her as he was walking toward her and she said: "Back off! I'm doing my job. I'm here just to babysit you and find out who wants to kill you. I told you I'm in a relationship. If you come any closer, I'm going to punch you." Then have the douche-bag come closer. Beckett decks him. As the douche-bag falls to the floor, have a bullet pass by his head. Pretty much the same result. The douche-bag is alive but with bruised face or bruised eye. Much more better storyline than this piece of crap. I would have liked her more if she did that.

She also didn't defend Castle when the douche-bag was talking about him and also calling Castle an "idiot". Beckett did absolutely nothing. Way to go, Beckett.

I, also, didn't like the conversation between the douche-bag and Beckett toward the end of the episode. I just didn't care.

Captain Gates; The captain was really stupid in this episode. She sends Beckett to babysit this douche-bag with no backup. REALLY?! Again. Beckett is no Wonder Woman. Or no Terminator. How the hell can Beckett babysit this douche-bag 24 hours a day with no sleep? Again? No backup? It could be days before they catch the person or people who is or are trying to assassinate this douche-bag. Why not have either Esposito or Ryan back her up? Or both of them? Is is that hard to come up with a better story line?

Martha: Don't get me on her. I could see what she was trying to say. But the way she said it just way off.

I won't watch this piece of crap again.

After watching this piece of garbage, I said break them up. Beckett and Castle should go in their separate direction. It's just beyond getting old that the fact the "writers" or "creator" can't get their act together and do a better job of handling this crap. If you can't do it right, don't do it at all.

The so called "writers" or "creator" should stop jerking the viewers around and have Beckett and Castle sit down like adults for one episode for maybe five minutes to talk about where their relationship is heading to before this episode aired or the beginning of this episode. oh, wait a minute! It's not the season finale. We'll probably see them talking about their relationship where it's heading at the last episode. But for some reason, they can't do the talking earlier on this season.
