Did ward and june no eddie was just pretending to be a nice to their faces everytime he showed up do their front door talking in a polite manner, do you think ward and june new eddie was playing a act with the whole nice guy image ?

Eddie was like a phonograph record. On one side, he was polite and courteous to adults but on the other side, when he was around Wally, Beaver and others his age or younger, he was a total jerk.

You know they knew Eddie was a two-faced b.s. artist - but somehow looked past it, maybe thinking Wally would be a good influence (which he was!)

But Ward did come close to banishing Eddie - in the ep where Eddie changed one of Beaver's report card grades from a D- to a B+.
