Default 5 Greatest Sitcom Kisses Of All Time

http://whatculture.com/tv/5-greatest...f-all-time.php

Quote:
Ah, the sitcom. It’s probably the oldest TV genre in existence (the news doesn’t count because it isn’t scripted). Because of this, some people claim that the genre has outlived its time, that current sitcoms are nothing but rehashes of the same plot devices and characters that have come before. While I would disagree with the statement that sitcom characters haven’t changed, I would concede the fact that sitcom plots haven’t changed all that much since the days of The Honeymooners and I Love Lucy. What I don’t understand, though, is how people consider this to be a bad thing; in fact, the comfort of knowing a little about what’s coming is part of what makes me love sitcoms.

One of those sitcom tropes, the dramatic kiss, is there for a very organic reason: most sitcoms revolve around romantic relationships, because it’s something that all of us can relate to. One thing that never changes in sitcom-world, however, is that kisses are always special, dramatic moments; whether the couple involved is married or not, whether they’re just starting out together or they’ve been going along for a while, a sitcom kiss never fails to surprise us viewers, leaving us satisfied and that much more likely to stick with the show, looking to see how the relationships we’ve been watching unfold will end up.

Here, we’ll look at the five sitcom kisses that set the standard for all others. Of course, any list like this will ignite its fair share of controversy; as always, feel free to chew me out in the comments below (praise is welcome, too)!

I think a good one was Shawn and Angela on "Boy Meets World" when they finally get back together. It was when her dad came to visit and she didn't want to be with Shawn because she was afraid they'd get married and divorced just like her parents. When at the end she finally said 'I love you Shawn', you could really hear the audience screaming because they'd waited for it a long time. I know I watched the episode a bunch of times!

If the list was encompassing greatest kisses in TV history, surely Kirk and Uhura's kiss on Star Trek would be toward the top for being the first interracial kiss on TV.
But I like a lot of these entries on here- I was kinda thinking Ralph Kramden and Alice Kramden from The Honeymooners should have been on here too though.

The Wonder Years it was romantic and cool when kevin andhis on and off again girlfriend kissed each other on the show, the best kiss was the last episode of the 6th season idependence day when they french kiss in the barn before they head off to the 4th of july parade.

The Cosby Show Cliff and Clair had the best kissing on it felt real and not fake like most TV who are forced to kiss each other because its part of the script.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Will and Lisa were pros when it came to kissing

Family Matters when Myra and Steve were kissing each other it got most men and boys horny who watched this show back in the 90's lol

The Brady Bunch mike and carol did a good job at kissing when they were in their bedroom.

Like some of the commenters on that site, I'm surprised Ross and Rachel were not listed. I thought of them as soon as I saw the title to this thread. Oh well!

I'm not a huge fan of I Love Lucy, but I absolutely LOVED that clip! So romantic!
And I loved that All in the Family clip! That was a great episode!

Being a HUGE MASH fan, this one comes easy. The amorous goodbye shared between Hawkeye and Mararet Houlihan in the show's tumultuous finale. And probably most of the smooches doled out by the Fonz on "Happy Days".As tough as he was,Fonzie also had a softer, passionate side.
