Default Linda Kaye Henning (Hollywood Show)

So the Hollywood Show in LA was this past weekend and Linda Kaye Henning there with Lori Saunders and Gunilla Hutton. I got my picture with her! She was super nice and Betty Jo was always my favorite on the show. I'm glad that I got to meet her.

Congrats, it's a great pic...and you look so young it's nice to know you appreciate the older shows. I work with a couple of 20-somethings and they wouldn't have a clue what PJ or any other of the '60s sitcoms are, nor do they care.

Very nice picture! Thanks for sharing. And I'm glad you had such a positive experience in meeting Linda Kaye Henning.

Thanks. Yeah i'm 22 and I love all the classic tv shows. I used to watch this when I was little with my mom on TVLand back in the 90s when they had the Twice is Nice mornings.

Glad you had such a wonderful experience, and thanks for sharing it with us!

I've heard over the years that just about all of the people who were associated with the Paul Henning shows (Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres and Petticoat Junction) were just super nice, down to Earth people. Shows like My Three Sons, same thing. Just great folks.

Do you have any other cast pictures you can post? If not, that's cool, I understand why you would want to zero in on Linda since she was your favorite.

Here in Florida, we have a cable station called "ME TV". I don't know how wide-spread it is in the U.S... I think it actually originates in SW Florida. It's a great station, and it does the job that TV Land used to do. They run My Thee Sons and Petticoat Junction every morning. They even run the Donna Reed Show... It's always nice to get a station that runs shows like that.

With you being 22, I imagine that when a cast member meets someone like yourself, it HAS to make them feel very good that someone your age can actually appreciate the work they did.

Today, celebrities are a dime a dozen, and I wouldn't walk across the street to meet 99.99% of 'em. But I gotta say, the folks who worked in those shows like Petticoat Junction were really something special.

I'm glad you were able to do what you did!

Oh, one more question... do you have a lot of friends who also like shows from that era, and what do they think of your getting to meet Linda?

Linda Kaye Henning looks great. I had quite a crush on her when I was growing up. I still have a thing for redheads.

Her dad was one of the nicest guys in show business. An under-appreciated genius.

MeTV originated in Chicago as a local cable and air broadcast channel. Is it still there as a corporation? Dunno.

Please mention to your cousin Linda Kaye that there's a strong contingent of her fans at this site -- and we send along best regards...!
