Default I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can episode

It it just my imagination, or did this episode never air when FOL was on Nick@Nite (I wasn't around for the original run)? I didn't even know this one existed until I looked at the episode guide.

It may not have aired on Nick since it wasn't a kid-friendly episode. That episode, while I like it, weirds me out lol. Every time I see it, I can't believe they did something like that on a primetime family show lol. It also amazes me that Lisa was okay with doing that plotline.

It just felt odd seeing Jo get so amped up about the strip club.

Exactly. It seemed kind of out of place. And then at the end, it's basically left with Jo being pissed off.

You are correct, this episode along with other branded "contravertial" episodes did not air on NaN.

Which other episodes that were controversial did not air on Nick at Nite? I know Dope from Season 1, Breaking Point from Season 2, and The First Time from Season 9 weren't shown. Were there any others?

For me, the idea of the girls going to a strip club wasn't so far out, it's the fact that they surprised Mrs. Garrett with a trip to a strip club. That would be like taking your mom to a strip club. It was just really bizarre.

In its first run thru, nick at night deemed many episodes controversial such as the source, lets party, with a little help from my friends, and sorry but title names are escaping me but the one where Blair's mom finds out she's pregnant and might have an abortion, the one where Jo talks down a suicidal girl, and the later episode where tootsie thinks about sleeping with Rudy are a few episodes I remember being cut. In a special weekend run on tv land, I think they gave all us viewers who constantly write them upset about these cut episodes some special treatment because they played the source and with a little help from my friends. On the 2nd run through of the series they did play let's party but skipped others they had already played! Unfortunately it didn't make it much into the 5th season before it vanished, even though it was the most popular show on the lineup at that time. It was obvious how popular the show was by how active this board was at the time and other boards on the nick at night website!

That's so dumb--I wonder why they took it off. They really need to play this show somewhere on t.v. Even if it's a channel I don't get, I'd be happy just knowing it's playing somewhere. I mean, geez, this show is really good for kids and teens to see because it really does teach good lessons without getting too preachy about things.

And I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can was just a weird episode to me lol. The Mrs. Garrett part was odd, but it was also weird how Jo seemed so pumped to go, yet then was claiming it was Blair's idea. Then she got all pissed off that Cliff was there and wanted Blair to break up with him over it. The whole thing was just odd! lol
