The 1st Anniversary of Dick Clark's Death - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Sadly, one year ago today, Dick Clark passed away at the age of 82 on April 18, 2012. He was the executive producer of this dearly departed NBC-TV drama called "American Dreams", which was sadly cancelled eight years ago after only three seasons on the air. We sure miss him a whole lot! May he rest in peace, 1929-2012.

Yeah his passing happened rather quietly.I thought there would be at least a little more fanfare about it.I thought the same when Sinatra left the building.Clark certainly does have a secure place in the hearts of many who grew up with "Bandstand" and those of us who adored his "New Years Rockin' Eve" live telecasts along with his long run on "Pyramid".Truly,one of broadcasting's great voices.
