Exclamation "The Cleveland Show" may be Canned

Fox Cancels "The Cleveland Show"
by Amid Amidi
Tuesday April 16, 2013

Seth MacFarlane’s "The Cleveland Show" had been widely expected to be canceled, and The Animation Guild recently confirmed that the show is finished. The show had a respectable four-season run on FOX comprising 88 total episodes.

Fox Animation Studios is still humming along with "Family Guy" and "American Dad!" so MacFarlane remains busy, though an undetermined number of "Cleveland Show" rank-and-file will likely be laid off.

UPDATE—4/17—1:05pm ET]:

According to Entertainment Weekly, a Fox rep says that they haven’t made an official decision on the fifth season.

There is no reason to doubt The Animation Guild’s cancellation notice since they represent the artists working on the show, but in the interest of fairness, we’re mentioning FOX’s current position on the show.

I hope the artists find other jobs but I'm glad that The Cleveland Show is cancelled. It wasn't funny at all. Seth said he wanted to get more of the black audience. He doesn't understand black people and Cleveland was a very poor character to get his own show.

Oh No

Well...

It's now concrete...It was a year ago, but now I must admit it..."The Cleveland Show" is over...concluded!

With the new "Family Guy" ep called "It's Black", Cleveland Brown returns for good...but I hope we see the recurring characters on "The Cleveland Show" on "Family Guy".

I'm not holding my breath now for "The Cleveland Show" to return...but if there are newer episodes...this is a BIG IF...It won't be on FOX, but maybe on TBS...even "Futurama", people thought that show was concluded in 2003, but it returned later in 2010...now It's cancelled again and I doubt that show will have a 3rd-run.

Its a shame, this was the best McFarlane series of them all and had the wittiest humor out of the group. I also really liked the characters on this one. Im flat out sick of Family Guy and its constant barrage of played out toilet humor and mediocre characters. American Dad is just "meh" to me, sometimes its hilarious, other times it cant even get a smile to crack. Cleveland was always a laugh riot. Ill miss his Stoolbend adventures.

.......fingers crossed that they NEVER make a "Quagmire" series. His rapey antics get old fast. He is the worst of all the main characters and his giggidy catchphrase just sucks.

Well...though "Cleveland Show" is gone...I hope that the Stoolbendites make a few cameo apperances in "family Guy" or even "American Dad"....
