Exclamation The post you have all been waiting for

I GOT MARRIED!!!!!

Ok, just kidding. (I couldn't think of anything interesting to say.)

Peter Pan 2 opens tomorrow...can you believe it? I have tickets to the first showing...11am EST...so while you all are in school or working or here online, I'll be subjecting myself to a Disney SEQUEL!!!

Something seems wrong about that. LOL. Anyways, I'm going to let you know if I think it's worth seeing as far as Disney movies/sequels/Peter Pan movies go. If any of you root for the villain, I'm sorry to report I don't think Hook wins this time either.
BUT they have a good picture I am saving...

Anyways...we'll see what the end result is for this movie tomorrow. I'll post and then I'm passing out from no sleep lol. (too busy to sleep tonight)

**moo, Gracie moo, who thinks they should have left Hans Conried's spirit with the FIRST Peter Pan and not ripped it off for the 2nd**

Exclamation DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE IN THE THEATERS!

LOL, no Karli, I didn't get married...no such luck. (It's better that I don't anyways.)

Ok, if you don't want to know about the movie, stop reading and skip this now. See, the basic story is Wendy grew up and had 2 kids, and her husband went to battle while England was in a war....so Jane and her brother were supposed to watch over mom, you know---cuz dad said so.

Wendy still tells stories to the kids about Peter Pan and Jane doesnt believe they are true cuz she's wrapped up in the war

well she tells her little brother Peter Pan isnt real, then goes to sleep at the window and then Hook comes in on his ship and kidnaps her (how in the WORLD the ship could fly without pixies or anything is unexplained and dumb as hell)

they fly back and Hook holds her over the water and tries to sacrifice her to this octopus, to get Peter Pan to have to save her, but get eaten by the octopus instead

well you think Peter's gone but somehow miraculously the little bastard survives and takes Jane off someplace close to the ship then she tells him she's Wendy's daughter and he flies her all over the island

they meet the Lost Boys (who NOW have names) and the Lost Boys try to play with her, but she doesnt want to be a child, and they let her storm off by herself

Peter Pan watches her try to build a little boat to float back home, but the boat sinks (and how the hell did she get a British flag to put on the top of the boat anyway?) so he says the only way to get home is to fly...but she says she doesnt believe in flying and all that and says she doesnt believe in fairies...so Tinkerbell starts to fade away

then Jane storms off again by herself...oh, before she says she doesnt believe in fairies, the Lost Boys take her notepad and one of them ends up eating it (yeah, THAT's real) so thats why she storms off

Hook finds out she cant fly cuz she tried and fell on her face...so he comes up with a plan

he wants her to get his treasure from Peter Pan and then blow a whistle so he can take his treasure back and leave Neverland...to which he writes out a whole promise that he wont harm a single hair on Peter Pan's head...she Jane agrees to do it cuz she cant fly off and he offered to take her to London where she belongs on his way off

well she goes to find Peter, and he figures the way to make her fly is to find her and make her a Lost Boy...and since Tink is fading fast, they had to get her to believe in fairies or Tink will die

so he was looking for her and she was looking for him and they meet in the middle...they get Jane to play and have fun so she could fly and all, and they find the treasure (in a GAME called "find the treasure") and she decides not to blow the whistle...well the youngest Lost Boy "Toodles" finds it and blows the whistle anyways...so Hook captures his treasure and Peter Pan

Jane goes "you promised not to hurt a single hair on his head" and Hook pulls out a hair and says "thats right, and THIS is the hair im not going to harm...here, why don't you take it for safe keeping"

to which, i practically CHEERED in my seat cuz he chained Peter Pan to an anchor and took him off to his ship, along with the lost boys

and Hook was all "there's no one to save Peter Pan now!" and Jane rushes off to get Tinkerbell...but we see her light go completely out JUST BEFORE JANE GETS THERE...and Tink died

and i was happy

then Jane pulls her out and places her on the pillow of the bed in the main room and she pet Tink and cried and cried because NOW she believes in fairies...

well apparently thats all it took, and Tink comes back to life and everythings ok (which is total BS because everyone knows the way to get a fairy to come back to life is by clapping your hands saying you believe in fairies)

so they go off to save Peter and the lost boys

and meanwhile, Hook is about to let him have it...but he takes FAR TOO LONG so Jane could come and save him in time...but not before Hook got a good hold of her against the main mast with his hook by her throat

they get rid of the pirates by (get this...its the DUMBEST THING in the movie) shooting the treasure off the side of the boat so the pirates will jump after it

and they ALL jump after the treasure

so anyways its down to Jane and Peter against Hook and Peter gets off the anchor, so he throws it at Hook, and Hook goes through the bottom of the boat (all like 5 floors apparently) and ends up by the octopus..he jumps and gets back up through the boat and the octopus follows him...

the last thing you see of Hook is him going down, then swimming to the little dingy where Smee and the other pirates are (how the hell did they get that off the boat if they just jumped after the treasure?) and they all get eyed by the octopus...which chases them off into the wild blue yonder

Peter and the Lost Boys fly Jane back home, and she tells her brother the story and Wendy looks out the window a couple times, then says hi to Peter and Tink who were waiting right outside the window...then Peter and Tink fly off

of course...Jane's daddy comes back from the war, and everything's "happily ever after"

so they never explained the reason the crocodile wasnt in there...they just said something like "at least the croc had manners"

Hook had some good scenes, but the voice didn't fit him, and anyone that has seen Peter Pan would appreciate the original MORE after seeing this. (I felt dirty and like I had betrayed the original, I had to pop in the video and watch it when I got home.)

Jane was alright for a spunky little brat, they didn't mention the Indians and hardly touched on the mermaids atall, so I think it was lacking BIG TIME. Tinkerbell was ...eh.... and the only other things I liked about the movie were the little hints of the first one on their way to Neverland and the Pluto cartoon beforehand.

Gracie moo gives this movie a resounding 1 star considering they could have used Kathryn Beaumont for Wendy's voice again and DIDNT, picked a guy who doesn't do Hook justice with his voice (at times he sounded like Ratcliffe from Pocahontas), and totally went off the mark with the story...and having hardly any songs in it that fit the movie.

But you can see it for yourself, if you want. I just wouldn't suggest it.

**moo, the disappointed**

Cool all of like 30 seconds

They were in it for maybe half a minute...long enough to be seen. That's IT. That's more screen time than the Indians got, they werent even in it.

**moo, still boggled by the sequel**
