Default A Lady in her Slip

On the 14th of March, I posted a message called "A Priceless Experience". This had to do with an interaction that I had with a fellow poster on Youtube. As I am sure that a lot of you know, several years ago, the first season episode called the "Emergency" was uploaded onto Youtube. It is there in three segments. It is early in the second segment that we have the classic pay phone scene. My guess would be that most of you remember Nell hanging the purse on the gurney pole and the little busy body charging after it! This poster on Youtube said "the purse things was priceless"! I could not agree more! Well, in the second season, we have another episode featuring the same actress who played the lady on the phone. This episode is called "Nell Goes Door to Door" and it is also up on Youtube. In this episode, the actress plays a woman at a party given by a company that sells vacuum cleaners. The defective machine, gets a hold of the lady's skirt and sucks if off of her body! We then see the woman (in a state of disbelief) in her slip in front of everyone! The same poster who I corresponded with pointed out how it was the same actress who told Nell to wait another ten minutes before she could use the phone in a hospital in another episode. I would say that the site of her running around in her slip was almost as precious as the site of her charging after her purse! Some people are just born to play slapstick!

Agreed. Some people just have it down packed like that and they can give you a good laugh off of it.

I see what you are saying. It is nice to see that, after all of this time, someone finally thought of one of my threads being worthy of a reply!

Less than an hour ago, I brought an old thread up to the top of this page. I figured that, since things are picking up a little bit, someone might be willing to tell some of us old timers what they think of what we wrote about a while back. Let us see what happens!

A few hours ago, I brought another old thread to the top of this page. I figured that, since conversation is picking up a little bit, someone new might want to tell me what they think of what I wrote when I first started the thread. I see that, it has a few new views but no replies. I wonder if I will get lucky this time around!

Yes. The actress is named Hazel Shermet. She played a door-to-door saleslady in "Mom's Birthday".

At this point, I feel addicted to the cause of starting some new conversation about this fine series! So far, in this sitting, I have brought three old threads to the top of this page for that purpose. Now here is attempt number four!

It seemed that, for a while the posts were coming in one after the other. Now things have cone to a standstill. I am now going to see if bringing this post to the top of the page changes things.

Too bad that set of videos got taken down!

Maybe it is time to let this topic go. No one is really posting. Just start something new and see what happens. You don't want to beat a dead horse. Simply start over again with something that may seem interesting.

I finally saw the season one episode "Mom's Birthday" after many years. Hazel Shermet did play the door to door sales lady who tried to come on to the chief. She said she was selling a new fragrance called "Come And Get It." It's so funny how Nell rolls her eyes at her as she's looking her up and down!
