Default Movie you once hated but now like?

The first time that I watched"Titanic" I was not impressed and disliked it. I watched it again recently on AMC and really liked it this time! In fact I went right away to amazon.com and bought the dvd! I am now watching it again. I love it!

One that comes to mind is the first Austin Powers film International Man of Mystery.

I guess the older James Bond/spy references flew past me when I was younger and there wasn't much slapstick comedy when compared to the two sequels.

I recently watched it and I now enjoy it more than the other two.

SPOILERS:

Recently, I've come to love On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the 6th official entry in the James Bond series. People often criticize it for the lead actor (George Lazenby instead of Sean Connery), and the plot of the film, but honestly, I didn't mind Lazenby's performance (this was the first film he ever did). I thought it could have been worse.

Yes, the film is quite long (142 minutes; the longest for a Bond film at the time), but I was able to sit through and enjoy it. I gotta say, one thing about the film I actually found kinda funny was in the scenes where Lazenby was so obviously dubbed by another actor. But that was because he was trying to pass as Sir Hillary Bray, as a way of faking out his enemies. Bray was played by George Baker earlier in the film, and it's his voice you hear during those particular scenes, instead of Lazenby's.

And the film had a very well-done ending. Bond gets married to his new wife, he assumes Blofeld and his henchwoman Irma have given up, but then they show up and do a drive-by to Bond's car after the wedding, Bond gets out of the way, and tries to talk to his new wife, and she's dead.

Very effective ending, and now that I think about it, I don't know if Connery could have pulled off that scene the same way Lazenby did.

When I first saw Sleepaway Camp back in the 80's I hated it, not sure why as it's the type of film I loved back then(and now), yet I loved part 2 and 3. For whatever reason as soon as Sleepaway Camp was released on DVD I bought it, and loved it. Yet now I'm not much of a fan of parts 2 or 3.

The original The Hills Have Eyes, same thing, back in the 80's I didn't like it. Then in the late 90's I found it super cheap on VHS, now it's my favorite Wes Craven movie and own the 2-disc DVD set.
