I wanted to see Lionel be a full time cast member on All In The Family him and Archie would have had some funny entertainment controversy Dabates each episode hahaha lol

Lionel got a kick out of humoring Archie, so there never would have been any debates.

I agree, there wouldn't have been the debates because Lionel got his entertainment from Archie's reactions and I thought that was such a mature and understanding way for him to react with some of Archie's comments. But yeah, I have always enjoyed any and all of the Lionel/Archie interactions.

Thats what i am talking about i dont mean both of them just arguing with rage but the two of them sitting down for for a few minutes talking about racial controversy topics in a calm manner.
