I love classic movie logos. What are some of your favorites? Here's my list:
20th Century Fox (1980 version with the extended John Williams recording; as first seen on The Empire Strikes Back.) ![]() Walt Disney Pictures (1985 version. I also have a soft spot for the Pixar variant.) Touchstone Pictures (1984 version. It was only seen on their first three films.) ![]() MGM (Just about all of their versions from 1932 to 1987.) United Artists (The Blue-flower Transamerica T, from 1968 to 1981. Sadly, it is rarely, if ever, seen on TV these days, and only some home video releases from the early 80's feature it. I also have a soft spot for the 1982 "Turning UA" version.) Orion Pictures (Rare 1979 version, with the red/blue rectangles, as seen on the original print of Caddyshack, among others from the same period.) Universal Pictures (1963-1990 version.) Columbia Pictures (1976 and 1981 versions.) TriStar (1984 version.) Warner Bros. Pictures (1972-1984 version.) Paramount Pictures (1975-1986 version.) |
