I learned about this Aussie mockumentary 8-episode series and thought it sounded hilarious. It was dubbed "The fifth best current affairs program" Segments include:
-a doctor who cares for those with odd medical conditions. -"Fun-nerals", a funeral parlor where they try to liven up the occasion with gags. -Grounded For Life" a 27 year old man who has been grounded for the last 15 years because his father died the day after grounding him when he was 12. He has been confined to his bedroom the whole time and has food left at his door. -"525,599 Moments Of Silence" - An Australian town that observes a moment of silence for every digger that died. This leaves them one minute a year to talk. -"Shakespeare's New Musical" - a newly uncovered musical from Shakespeare called "The King Hath Farted" -"Backyard Disaster" - a family wins an Extreme Makeover type deal for their house, but don't like the finished product and order the house back the way it was. -"Life Writer" - a millionaire who hires two writers to make his life funnier and more interesting. Also segments on "The Princess Mary Hate Club" and "The World Board Games Championship" This series sounds like a hoot. Does anybody have this? |
