What the hell was she talking about?

Was that supposed to make James feel better?

Yep. It would probably make him feel a tad bit worse to get turned down for a job that doesn't take any skill. It would be the equivalent of you getting turned down from Mcdonalds. If you were had to pick a company to get turned down from, would you rather get turned down from a multi-million dollar company or McDonalds? Which one would you be embarrassed to tell your friends you were turned down from?

He didn't get any further in the interview process than he did with the crappy jobs lol
