Do you think the Addams were religious in anyway, or followed any faith path?
Most ppl might be saying they are Satanists, Pagans, or Wiccans, but I dunno. I don't really see the Addames worshiping or accepting ANY diety. To me they seem like atheists who DO somethat accept the supernatural. I do know of some atheists who believe in ghosts and things like that. |

Interesting question:
In one episode they are shown celebrating Christmas; and in another episode (The one with Rocky the motorcycle riding runaway) there was some interesting dialog. Wednesday and Pugsley were teasing Rocky with the old kid line: "We know a secret, we know a secret" Rock sarcastically replies "Satan's coming to dinner," whereupon Wednesday replies. "That was last week." Perhaps the deciding factor is when Gomez and Morticia were married by a minister. |

These days,Christmas is FAR more social and commercial enterprise than it is true faith.

Although that point of view happily doesn't apply to all inhabitants of this planet, it is still definitely one of the saddest truths of our times. A prime example of the skewing views of Christmas can be found in Stan Freberg's "Green Chri$tma$." |

Don't forget that this show was made during a more conservative time. They couldn't come out and openly say that they were satanists. They could only hint along those lines.
