Default It Can Pay To Watch ALF

At a trivia event the other night a question came up that I was able to answer that the other team members couldn't. The question was: What is ALF's home planet. So easy when you're an ALF fan.

Well, being an "ALF" fan I definitely know that one. But then- this is why it's called trivia. It's not anything terribly important to know, but it is fun to know- and yeah, that only works if you happen to be a fan of certain shows. I know there is a lot of TV show trivia out there that I simply would not know because I am not a fan of some shows and don't care to have any knowledge about it.
But anyway, I'm sure the ol' ALFer would be proud- good job!

Thanks for the kind words. You're absolutely right about certain shows. There's quite a few questions on TV that come up that I have no idea on. I guess that's what makes getting some correct so pleasing.

Probably for most people on a site such as this,TV isn't just to pass the time in between errands and things,it's actually a legitimate science.Same for the movies.Look at the official title of the people who select the Oscar winners."The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and SCIENCES".For anyone who thinks otherwise, how would they explain all the thousands of volumes that have been written about the American small screen? There must be SOMETHING going on here that's both entertaining and worthwhile. Also, the general trivia thing can form wonderful interpersonal bonds at parties and family get together. As a major "Jeopardy" fanatic,I'd hardly be one for considering ANYBODY "nerdy" in the matter.Trivia rocks!!
