Default William Daniels returns as Mr. Feeny

Girl Meets World Scoop: It's Official — William Daniels to Return as Mr. Feeny!

http://tvline.com/2013/03/23/girl-me...lliam-daniels/

Turns out William Daniels wasn’t just visiting the Girl Meets World set earlier this week — he was working.

TVLine has learned that William Daniels will indeed reprise his beloved role as Mr. Feeny in Disney Channel’s Greatest Pilot of All Time.

It’s not clear what function the character will serve on the Boy Meets World spin-off, but considering he was photographed in a classroom setting — and given his teaching background — it seems logical that he will be back working at the school now attended by Cory’s (Ben Savage) children (including Rowan Blanchard, who’s playing his titular daughter, Riley).

A GMW source, meanwhile, points out that Rider Strong and Will Friedle — who were also snapped on the set — were just visiting and do not appear in the pilot.

It is so cool to have Mr. Feeny back, at least for the pilot. I'd love to see Eric and Shawn make guest star appearances at some point, though Rider Strong has seemed to indicate that he won't be involved with the show. From what I've heard, Michael Jacobs put out the offer to pretty much all the cast of "Boy Meets World" for the chance to have a place in the spinoff series- if they were interested, a place would be made- if not, then that's cool too.
But even if some of BMW cast choose not to get involved with the GMW series- it's always possible they might be convinced to do a guest role at some point. You never know.
Of course, all of this does seem to be jumping the gun some. As much as I am excited for the show and want it to succeed, it still is only at the pilot stage. Hopefully it will do well though and we'll get a chance to see a visit with the grandparents and Aunt Morgan and Uncle Eric and maybe even Uncle Joshua as well.
I wouldn't mind seeing Jack and Rachel show up again (I would imagine probably married at this point, seeing as how they went into the Peace Corps together at the end of the "Boy Meets World" series) and maybe even Shawn could be married to Angela and make an appearance...... but who knows?

Anyway, I don't know if this has been posted yet, but if not- here are some pictures from the "Girl Meets World" set that I saw online-

I honestly didn't think William Daniels would appear on the show! I'm not really sure why but he was the one I thought least likely to return.

As for returning characters I definitely want to see Shawn and Eric (I'm sure they wouldn't mind at least a cameo) and wouldn't complain about seeing Frankie, Morgan, Mr. Turner, Joshua, or Minkus.

I would think Amy and Alan are obvious returns, but who know at this point?

I assumed he wouldn't have returned because of his age. However, with actresses like Betty White still working, that's not really a valid reason anymore. LOL

He was only in the pilot and his line was something along he effect of "Well done, Mr. Matthews" in a poster with his face with some slogan about staying in school.
