Cool

I'm surprised Beat the Clock and Truth or Consequences didn't make the list!

...let alone Takeshi's Castle or any Japanese game shows for that matter alone!

I'm also surprised that Distraction with Jimmy Carr also didn't make the list as well.

How about THREE'S A CROWD --- with teams of Boss/Wife/Secretary playing against each other. Definitely wins the Most Sexist award!

Hey Guys, is it ok if I can add Dueling for Playmates to the list of weird game shows?

not saying that I had watched Dueling for Playmates I just heard about it, and it kinda of has that "Chuck Barris-esque" vibe to it even though it's not created by him.

No offense, but Starcade didn't last that long. I mean sure you had Geoff Edwards hosting the syndicated version from 1983-1984 and of course originally when it was on TBS at the time it was hosted by Mark Richards from 1982-1983.

so all in all if you combined them, the show actually ran for two season respectively. also I wouldn't consider Starcade as one of the weirdest or greatest game shows of all-time. but as they say different strokes for different folks right?

I assume that he was at the time since he was unknowned then...and he still is, but I do believe he hosted a game show pilot for CBS Daytime (for which you and I both know that it never sold called Fortune Hunters) and he is mostly a warm up for game shows such as Jeopardy! and the like.

I really didn't even known that Mark use to work for radio back then in your own hometown from where you live.
