Do any of you here watch The Mentalist? Lily Nicksay, the original Morgan from Boy Meets World was in last night's episode titled Red, White and Blue. This is the first thing I've seen her in since BMW. She's still cute and really liked her acting in her guest appearance. Glad to see she's still acting and on something I actually watch.

If they ever bring back Morgan Matthews, I hope Lily plays the role, she always seemed a lot more likeable than Lindsey Ridgeway, both in the role and real life.

I was wondering that myself. Not one I've been able to find. Although these reports from TMZ on her IMDB page say that she'd love to reprise her role as Morgan:

I thought maybe it was because she was a kid and wanted to take time off, but her IMDB page shows she kept acting until 2002, when she appeared on an episode of 8 Simple Rules. This week's Mentalist episode was her first TV or movie acting gig since then. Not sure if she's done any theater professionally or in college. Her Wikipedia page says:

Nicksay has studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, UK

So I guess she left acting to go to school and graduated college. Glad to see her back, she's very cute and talented. I hope Michael Jacobs and Disney take her up on her offer and let her at least make some guest appearances on the new show. I'd also like to see Shawn make some appearances and even occasionally the parents and possibly Mr. Feeny, that would be great for the old school fans that grew up with the original series. I just hope it doesn't run forever and overstay its welcome, like the revived Degrassi series is doing.
