I know the show wasn't really filmed in Sacramento, but that is where the Bradford's are supposed to be.
In every episode the kids wear polyester long sleeve shirts. Sacramento gets over 100 degrees in the summer. Every time I see this show this bothers me, even when I was a kid. Did you see the reunited EIE? David flys the family up to Tahoe in a King Air. In reality, that flight would take 15 minutes. They also talked to Truckee Tower when the Truckee airport doesn't have a tower. He also looses an engine and doesn't declare an emergency. Then while flaring to land he looses the other engine and declares an emergency while he lands. Stuuuupid. Why don't they hire consultants?

I don't think they hire consultants because they are too cheap to do so.
Check out this site for movie flubs. It is a fun site... http://www.movie-mistakes.com/index.php Another thing....I don't know where that cabin is, but it is the same cabin used in The Great Outdoors. It has also been used in many other shows. It seems like anytime they need a "rustic cabin" this is the one they use. |

Thanks for the link,
I don't recall the cabin but that is funny. The Great Outdoors was filmed at Bass Lake. I actually used to stay at a friend's cabin there every 4th of July and Memorial Day. The restaurant with the Giant Steak burned down in real life. The cabin probably is on some set somewhere. Take care |

Bass Lake....It sure is a pretty place. That steak scene was gross!! Too bad the place is gone.
Thanks for all the "goofs" info. I do think it is interesting when people spot flubs... |

I can't defend the plane mistake, but I don't think any of the episodes took place during the summer. The kids were always in school in the time frame when the episodes were taking place.

None of the kids looked like they were related in the first place, which always bothered me about this show.
