Default Worst episodes/ones that bored you/least favorite

All episodes were good, but if I had to choose they'd be...

Season 1:

NONE, ALL WERE FUN TO WATCH

Season 2:

NONE, ALL WERE FUN TO WATCH

Season 3:

The Mayor (Not enough Kanisky's, too much focus on The Mayor)

The Center (Not enough Kanisky's, too much focus on The Center)

Season 4:

The Answering Machine (Nell's boyfriend made no sense, wish she was still with James)

The gift (It was a very typical episode. Not enough Kanisky's...I didn't really care for the storyline)

Police Mamas (I didn't really care for the storyline)

Season 5:

The Man Fom Zoron (Hated the story, not enough Kanisky's)

Sam's Little Girl (Very stupid episode, Pamela was dull, should have focused more on Sam...this was basically her only episode this season she could have had all to herself, instead it was more on Nell/Joey/Pamela)

Getting To Know You (Aside from it being creative in a few ways, the story just wasn't there...also didn't care for Nell's boyfriend...still, James was best for Nell.)

The Purse Snatcher (Dumb story. Most was about Nicky/his friend/Mr. Pappalardo...was funnier when they went back to the Kanisky house in the end.)

Season 6:

Nell The Boss (Hated the story)

Nell's Secret Admirer (Again, Nell didn't need another odd guy in her life...she needed James back! Even though we learn more about her as a teenager, it was boring just watching her on the phone for most of the episode)

Joey's First Crush (Joey actually talked about girls when he was in Glenlawn the year before...no way was I buying Maggie was his first crush. Didn't care much for BJ and how he was written)

The Scam (Not enough cast, hated the storyline and Nell's ways...she was better than being greedy)

The Loan (Not enough cast, hated the storyline and Nell's ways...she would have let Addy pay her back in time. Def not buying the plot)

Someday, My Prince (Not enough cast, hated the storyline, by far, the worst episode of the entire series with Nell...so unlike her...This was the only episode that aired out of order and messed up with ongoing character background. Nell had been at McDillon and Loud for several months at that time.)

Even though I really have nothing to add to this topic, I am responding because I know the feeling of loneliness that goes with starting a thread and no getting any replies. I think that the last season was a mistake before it even started! I think that the show should have died an honorable death at the end of season 5. I think that the whole year in New York was a joke in its one time!

The worst episode is the one where they went to the World's Fair. Season 4 Episode 1 New Orleans (1) (a.k.a.) Joey Goes to New Orleans (1)

I was never a big fan of this show, but I wanted to watch this episode, because Vancouver was preparing to host the 1986 Worlds Fair: Expo '86, and I wanted to see what the 1984 World's Fair looked like: It looked like ****, compared to Vancouver's fair. At this time, I was listening to shortwave radio, and WRNO was broadcasting from the fair, and it was fun to listen to the station, but on Gimme a Break, it looked like ****!

Do you think The Purse Snatcher was a spinoff attempt? I think it was.

I remember watching it as a kid and then in reruns on USA network but I can't claim to have seen all episodes to form an opinion, the theme was catchy but plots were predictable 1980's sitcom fare.

Actually, season six was one of my favorites. It had some pointless episodes but it was still funny. I am partial to New York, As an eight year old, I remember seeing Rosie O'Donnell on Star Search and her talking about her new character on GAB. Joey Lawrence was my childhood hero at the time. I used to think that he was actually there in NYC and I wanted to be his friend and be there too. When I go back and check the dates of the filming locations, I came to find out that he was there several weeks before I returned to stay for a couple of months. LOL. 1986 was a memorable, happy carefree time for me. Maybe that is why I am partial to season six.
