Default Set clocks ahead

So when your dog comes running for his usual breakfast hour tomorrow, you can tell him he's late, breakfast is over. Then listen to him bitch about how you shafted him out of his grub.

I liked it better when it was in April. In 1970 Daylight Savings Time occurred on Easter Weekend, and my Family spent that week in Gatlinburg. On easter Sunday we got up, went to a Restaurant in Pigeon Forge for a Pancake breakfast, then went on to church. We got there just in time to hear the Minister give the benediction. My Folks forgot about Daylight Savings Time, which I thought was a funny as heck!

I don't like losing an hour.
It's nice in the fall when we gain an hour.

It supposedly saves energy. During the 1973-75 Energy Crisis the State of Michigan attempted to make Daylight Savings Time last all year. Unfortunately that resulted in the creation of another problem. Children were forced to make their way to school before daylight. After a couple of kids were struck by cars in the predawn darkness (Fortunately they recovered) the resulting outcry by irate parents resulted in the cancellation of the project.

It always seems to take me a week to get used to this. But once I do, I like the extra hour of light.

But of the two, I'd rather just have that extra hour of sleep.

Not to go too far off topic, but calling an ex-President "********" is pretty low.

It's low no matter who it's directed at.

Solomon that's a very uncool comment and no one should ever refer to anyone by that name
