Are the DVDs captioned? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Shout! Factory was the company that released the season sets, and they're notorious for not putting the CC symbol on their packaging when the show is, in fact, captioned (Freaks & Geeks and DuckTales come to mind, both of which were released by them).

I checked on Amazon and Deep Discount. DD doesn't indicate that the sets are captioned, but Amazon does. I wanted to ask someone here who does, in fact, have the sets and can personally check themselves for me. I don't mean just checking the packaging to see if the "CC" symbol is on there, but actually playing an episode for me with your TV's captions turned on.

Please and thank you -- I am hearing impaired and would like to get the DVDs. Otherwise I'll be out of money I can't get back, and DVDs I'm unable to enjoy/view. (I adore Valerie!)

I just put in a disc from my Season 1 set, turned on my TV's closed captioning, and the captions came on.
