Kimberly Kane Lands Title Role in Braun's Wonder Woman XXX

AVN Director of the Year three-peater Axel Braun has tapped Kimberly Kane, herself the bearer of an AVN Best Actress trophy, to fill the wondrous bustier of Wonder Woman in his XXX spin on the sexy superheroine for Vivid Entertainment, going into production Tuesday.

"I saw over a dozen different actresses, and many of them were truly excellent, but Kim Kane just nailed it," Braun told AVN.

"What she brings to the character is the image of a strong, independent woman ... the movie deals with the Wonder Woman story in a much darker, more adult way. She's not going to be the goody-two-shoes that she was in the '70s. She's a woman, she kicks ass. And Kim can definitely kick serious ass."



Kane, who underwent three weeks of intensive training to get in fighting shape for her scenes, is thrilled about the opportunity.

"I'm so happy that Axel chose me for the part," she said. "It feels good to be trusted with another one of his mega roles."

She added, "Also I was Wonder Woman for Halloween for like 10 years when I was a kid, so I can't wait to share those pics on Twitter!"



Braun joked that in the wake of David E. Kelley's NBC-canned "Wonder Woman" pilot of 2011, he was now solely responsible for carrying on the character's legacy.

"After the failure of mainstream, apparently this rests on my X-rated shoulders alone," he intoned.

Wonder Woman XXX Costume Spawns Admiration

A single photo showing adult actress Kimberly Kane wearing her costume for the upcoming Wonder Woman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody movie has generated internet buzz – mostly extolling the beauty of her attire.

Kane will wear the sleek, tri-colored, one-piece outfit in the Vivid Entertainment adult parody movie directed by Braun.

“Looks like we’ve officially set the internet on fire,” said Braun in response to the outpouring of comments on the costume, “and it all comes from just one picture. Well, that and me designing an awesome costume for a gorgeous lady.”





The picture premiered exclusively on Harry Knowles’ mainstream website AintiItCool.com with the headline, “Axel Braun looks to taunt David E Kelley with his WONDER WOMAN.”


Rob Bricken of IO9.com asked and answered in a headline, “Who has the best live-action Wonder Woman outfit? The Wonder Woman porn parody, obviously.”


WWTDD commented “The first thought I had when I saw this picture, (OK, second thought), was, ‘Wow…that costume looks really good. Like, better than Hollywood good.’ The porn parody’s production values are waaaaayyyyy better. Mind you, this is for a porn movie where she probably won’t be wearing it for long. So, we now know what we’ve always known. Porn is better than stuff that isn’t porn.”





Braun says he will provide additional photos of characters in the movie and a trailer prior to its release.
