Some interesting Paley listings - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Just thought I'd post this list I've compiled for anyone that might be planning a trip to the Paley Center:

Jackie Gleason hosts The Colgate Comedy Hour (9/2/51) - Gleason does a short sketch where he plays a man coming home after being fired. This is said to have been sort of a "test run" for what he had in mind for The Honeymooners.

Cavalcade of Stars: "Honeymooners Contest" (1952) - Not sure what this is. Could be a mislabeled "Quiz Show" from 1951, but worth taking a look at just in case.

Audrey Meadows on Person to Person (4/23/54) - Audrey and sister Jayne are interviewed by Edward R. Murrow. The Honeymooners is probably discussed.

Audrey Meadows on The Dinah Shore Chevy Show (1/18/59) - Audrey takes part in a sketch that has a similar plot to "Boys and Girls Together."

Art Carney surprise American Scene Magazine appearance (5/16/64) - At one point, "Carney demonstrates the way Ed Norton would bowl."

Does the Colgate comdey special or the Person to Person, eps. with the Meadow sisters, exsist anywhere on DVD?

A few episodes of The Jackie Gleason Show that may be of interest:

November 7, 1958 - An episode of Gleason's short-lived half-hour show. Possibly the first time he played Rum Dum.

March 27, 1954 - Gleason returns after breaking his leg. December 22, 1956 - "The Poor Soul in Christmas-Land." November 7, 1958 - An episode of Gleason's short-lived half-hour show. Possibly the first time he played Rum Dum.
