Default Who was the "Mystery Family" in the first episode??

After all the kids left the party, all you see is the Mom, Dad, and the girl named betty at the house.

I was like....."why are these three people being seen when they are not in no way part of the show?

Please stop writing in all caps. It's like you're screaming at us!

Sol, I think that was the episode when Dwayne asks Betty's mom if she'd like to do the "Hustle" with him. And Rerun steals the cake just before the dad got up to get it for himself! The dude who played Betty's father was also the con man in the Doobie Brothers episode. And he was also in that poker game when Raj and the gang confronted Mama's boss about the stolen ring.

After Dwayne left, that should have been the end of them.

I don't think the mom in that episode ever appeared in any other episodes.

I'm drawing a blank on that guy being on the Jeffersons. I bet he was a sleazy character like when he was the con man in the Doobie Brother's episode for What's Happening. That guy has had so many little roles on TV shows, but I don't know what his name is.

He was on the Jeffersons in season 10, the later years when he was helping Tom Willis get his money back from crooks.
