Mila Kunins is in this picture. I wonder if she'll be singing like Judy Garland! This does sound interesting, though.

Mila Kunins will actually be playing a witch. I don't know about a Dorothy in this prequel.

I did find this synopsis of the movie:

I'd like to see if it will mesh with Wicked in ANY WAY.

This is the funny thing. In The Wizard Of OZ, as I recall, the Wizard was carried to the land of oz in the same Cyclone that brought Dorothy there and if so, then Dorothy should be there trying to find the Wizard. In-fact, they should even bump into eachother while trying to destroy the wicked witch. But how can the wizard destroy the witch if he sent Dorothy to do it? This is where it gets confusing. WAIT! Forget all of it, it was just a dream anyway.

Cool

Have any of you seen the movie "The Witches of Oz"? It's a very interesting and a little bit "out there" take on Oz! Intersting movie to watch if you're an Oz fan.

Something is wrong with the summary you are providing. The tornado that carried the sideshow magician to Oz (he eventually becomes OZ the Great and Powerful), anyway that tornado happened a lot earlier than the tornado that carried Dorothy there. The difference in the time of the two tornadoes allows the magician to establish his legend in OZ. The time between Dorothy landing in Oz and actually coming face to face with the wizard is not enough time for the legend of Oz to have grown thru out the entire land. So it couldn't have possibly been the same tornado.
