Default My five most disappointing George Jefferson moments

1. George getting smacked in the kitchen by Uncle Buddy on Christmas in season 5...wasn't he too old to be getting smacked?? lol

2. George being scared to fight the bald guy in the boxing ring in season 6....that wasn't the george I was used to since he was normally a fighter

3. George letting Mr. bentley walk on his back in season 5???........very odd

4. George going to Tom Willis for tips on how to be better in the bedroom in season 5

5. George insulting Tom in front of the little girl Abby in season 7.....come on he should have known kids repeat everything they hear

Out of the 5 I would say the most disapponting was george getting smacked by another man I was so upset by that

This was my most disappointing moment of George Jefferson. And that's because it involved an impressionable child. Also because I didn't like the way he was picking on Tom in front of a complete stranger. George behaved very tacky in that episode.

Next I would pick him being afraid of the boxing dude.

The episode where Buddy hit George bothered me, too. But it might be for different reasons than yours. I thought George was being disrespectful talking about his mother so harshly. I don't think it was too cool that Buddy slapped George. But Buddy was an old man, and if George hit him back, I would have really been disappointed in him.

George letting Mr. Bentley walk on his back never bothered me. I like Mr. Bentley.

I would have just liked it better if george threw him out of the house before they got to the smacking moment

And I didn't understand why george was afraid of the little bald dude when he stood up to

The tall Piano Mover
His best friend Wendell brown
His old friend Monk Davis

All 3 of them were a lot taller than that bald headed dude in the boxing eo

Yeah, the bald boxing guy looked like a poodle compared to Wendell Brown and the others!

As for Buddy, you're probably right. Maybe George should have asked Buddy to leave before he lost his temper so he could cool off instead of trashing his mama.

When I saw George get smacked for the 1st time I was like 14 and was expecting George to react and was so shocked lol

I didn't like how he let the 1st and 2nd lionel talk to him sometimes

Wow I agree with all five things you listed. And yeah when "Uncle Buddy" slapped him I was like "na George this dude got down with your mother and slapped you in your house, beat him down". I guess George had respect for his elders !
