1 Year Later: Remembering Davy Jones

As many of you readers are aware, last week marked the 1-year anniversary that Davy Jones, beloved as a TV Monkee, died on February 29, 2012 of a Massive Heart Attack at age 66 in Stuart, Florida.

In commemoration of this event, what are of your favorite Monkee memories?

To answer my own question, I remember dutifully watching MTV reruns of The Monkees, where I first fell in love with the show.

According to the E! True Hollywood Story episode focusing on The Monkees, Davy Jones NEVER had to audition for The Monkees, with the series a star vehicle for him by creators Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider--something I NEVER would have known if not for that E! THS episode.
