You know what's odd? That Pearl and Jethrene were the only other "relatives" to Jed. Were any of the other visitors from "back home" actually related to Jed, Granny, Elly and/or Jethro?

It seems like Granny only had 1 child and that was a daughter who was married to Jed. I know it was the hills and all but they seemed to loose their spouses early in life.

I'm suprised that they didn't discover a bunch of long lost relatives that they didn't even know they had with the way they struck it rich all of the sudden.
