Jamie Lynn Spears Engaged: Britney's Little Sis Shows Off Her Ring

Will big sister Britney Spears be the maid of honor?

Jamie Lynn Spears, 21, announced her engagement last night (March 1) to her boyfriend of three years, 30-year-old Jamie Watson.

The former "Zoey 101" actress and singer posted a picture of them hugging and her flashing a new ring on her Instagram page. Next to the sweet and telling pic was, "Guesssss what??????"

Then she posted another photo showing off just the ring, a beautiful round-cut diamond. "He did good," she wrote.

This will be the first marriage for Jamie Lynn, who was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her 4-year-old daughter, Maddie.

Congrats to Jamie Lynn and the Spears family!

Not surprised that she's not engaged to teenaged baby daddy. Those things never work out.

I won't give Britney Spears credit for much, but at least she waited until she got married before she had kids.
