Before I go to bed ... what memories do you have of My Three Sons ? It countes if you watched My Three Sons during the 1960s, in reruns ten or fifteen years after the fact, or on DVD .

Probably the feeling of each family member for the other. In watching the series now, you really notice the fatherly advice of Fred McMurray as the father figure. His character can be shaken and react in a comedy fashion, but in the end, he is there with the proper words and reaction for all.

I remember having watched it sometime in the Mike-William Frawley era. Then they introduced Ernie around 1965, and since Barry Livingston and I are the same age, we had that in common and paid more attention to him.
There was a 35+ year gap from watching it, and then seeing it again. I mostly remember the events of Chip, and Ernie. I lost interest in the series when they brought Dodie on board. |
