This is my favorite Britcom. Have watched it since I was little. My two favorite scenes are the one where Hyacinth wants to use the telephone and some guy is in the telephone booth. She starts pounding on the door yelling at the man to get out. Then she tells Richard to remove the man. He doesn't so she proceeds to pound on the door and yell. He tells her to "Stop that at once and get in the car." Love that he finally stood up to her, and the look on her face when he said that... LOL.
My second favorite scene is when Hyacinth was on the phone with Violet, who tells her Bruce wants to borrow a bikini. The look on her face when Violet said that... LOL. Then she tries to shut the door with her foot and Elizabeth sees her and almost starts laughing and Hyacinth pretends she is doing leg exercises. LOL |

Loved it early on when Richard asked Hyacinth about something as simple as locking the car, after she insisted that she be included on all decisions. Richard did have his moments, played out very well.

Richard did lose it with Hyacinth a couple of times. One time was while they were driving out in the country. Another time was when Hyacinth wanted Richard to kick a man out of the phone booth so she could use the phone. He refused and she was harassing the man and Richard yelled at her to get back in the car. She pouted. It was good to see Hyacinth taken down a notch.
