The first lady of Star Trek would have been 81 today. Thank you for giving us Christine Chapel, Lwaxana Troi, Number One, Lieutenant M'Ress, and the voice of the Enterprise's Computer!

Yep she was the original #1 in Star Trek The Cage. She sure was hot.

Majel was awesome! I was lucky enough to have a long conversation with her a bajillion years ago when I was on a panel at a Star Trek convention. She was engaging and witty and a pleasure to be around.

I loved her performance as Lwaxona Troi! And there was something almost comforting about her being the computer voice on all the Star Trek series. Kind of like a connection between all the shows and her late husband Gene Rodenberry.
