Default does any one else like Red Dwarf

I know it's random but it's so good. Actually I've really only seen the earlier episodes, but i would love to get my hands on more. If anyone agrees with me that Lister is oddly sexy let me know.
Ta ta!

Default Red Dwarf is the best!

Red Dwarf is one of those shows I never get tired of watching. So funny and well-acted! First show I ever saw was Polymorph, and I was hooked ever since. I was amazed that the actors could portray themselves completely in the first few minutes, and then show what those characters would be like without key emotions!
I think my all time favorite episode has to be Dimension Jump. Everything from the Berlin-style soundtrack to "What a guy!" I am slowly building my collection, but lack the proper funds to do so. Why is it that all the really good British stuff is never shown on PBS in my area???

There are a couple of websites you must see if you're a serious fan:

One of the funny things about the show is in the last season
that they showed on PBS they did it so that they brought the
rest of the crew of Red Dwarf back and Rimmer was no longer
a hologram but back among the living once more.It was an
unusual twist to the show, having Red Dwarf with a complete
crew.To not spoil much of anything let us just say that they
ended that season with yet another disaster that kills everyone,
including Rimmer,except our Heroes!!!!!
I believe that this was the last season they have taped to date.
They might have done more but that is the last one that they
have shown on PBS that I remember seeing.

Since these eposides (the 8th series) were made, the cast & crew have been working on the Red Dwarf film, although I've heard that a 9th TV series is planned.

More info is on the Official Site: http://www.reddwarf.co.uk

hey! its actually a great series. i saw it first when my older bother had a "six of the best" episodes on tape and we watched the all and well, i got really into it. u can buy books andstuff with the scripts in too.
since then i watched repeats of the older series's (?) and then the new ones.
i dont think they got bad, unlike some shows which carry on to long and i think dave is the funniest character. Rimmer , well the actor at least, played some really annoying dude in another show and all i can say was it was good he got a new job cuz the previous show was terrible!

I think you're referring to "The Brittas Empire" here, in which Chris Barrie played Gordon Brittas, the manager of a small-town leisure centre. I've seen some of the episodes and it's not as good as Red Dwarf in my opinion, but I think he played the character well. It was made from about 1990 and ran for about 6 or 7 years, so it ws on at the same time as Red Dwarf. But...I think you're better off sticking to RD.

Yeah,Rimmer may be a looser but at least he's a classic character!
by the way which Holly do you guys like? The original male Holly or
the later female Holly? And those of you who saw the last season
what did you think of the twist when they found Holly and it was
the ORIGINAL one?

I love Red Dwarf. It's a combination of two of my favorite genres comedy and Sci-fi. It is very well written and brilliantly acted by a superb cast. My favorite character is Kryten. He is the only TV character I know with three spare heads!!! I like to say more but there's a swirly thing alert! swirly thing alert!!

Yes, I like Red Dwarf. I was mad the PBS station took it off Friday nights. I find Lister sexy too. I'm not into Science Fiction, but that show is the exception.
