TVLine has learned exclusively that Weber will play Governor McConaughey, an ambitious politico who conspires with Cliff Barnes and Harris Ryland — a gruesome twosome if ever there was — to take down the Ewing family. The one thing that is different about this Dallas is that it appears that the Ewings aren't as powerful as they used to be. Cliff and Harris seem to be bigger villians and with JR gone, I don't see what the point is. It feels like these Ewings are sort of like what the Barnes family was in the original series. Has the show come full circle?
