towards the end because they were becoming more smarter. At the beginning of the shows I just couldn't believe how dumb they were even for hill people. I mean at the end they were a bit dumb but had become smarter too.

I sorta disagree with this. They seemed to have more commun sense in the beggining.

At the end they all became sorta cartoon paradies of themselves. And I really think they became DUMMER int the later episodes.

When Granny was freaking out about thinking Mark Templeton was half frog....I don't think the early Granny would have EVER reacted like that, I'm pretty sure the early Granny would have KNOWN he was wearing a suit.

And Jethro became RIDICULIOUS!!!
