I remember in an episode a woman wanted to borrow $70 from a bank.

Back then would a bank lend out such a LOW amount like $70?

Before I knew about anything much I wanted to borrow $300 from my bank and they told me that the LOWEST amount they lended out was $1500.00, *I DID get him to go down to $1200.00 though*

Then I went to a bank one time and they told me the lowest amount they lend out is $3000.00!!!! Which seems totally ridiculious!
